Hotel Excellence Awards Honor Hospitality Industry Achievements

February 24, 2015 (New York, NY): On Monday evening, February 23, 2015, the 2014 Hotel Excellence Awards (HEA) program was held at the iconic Cipriani Wall Street and hosted by Where® IN New York, a multi-media publishing company—in cooperation with the Hotel Association of New York City, Inc. and the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges.

Fred Dixon, president of NYC & Company, bestowed this honor to Gallagher.

“It’s a tremendous honor to be singled out for this award,” Gallagher says. “When my business partner, Mike Morey, and I developed the CityPASS® concept about 17 years ago, we realized that even the best idea needs a dedicated team of people to make it work. And that’s what we have. In New York City, for example, we partner with the very best attractions—the attractions that visitors from all over the world would enjoy and want to visit.”

Entertainment for the evening included selections from the best of Broadway’s current season, the musicals On The Town and Honeymoon in Vegas. The event also included a charitable Silent Auction—containing almost one hundred luxury items—to benefit the Les Clefs d'Or Foundation, the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges' Charitable Fund, the Hotel Association of New York City, Inc. Scholarship Fund and Big Apple Greeter.
